Maybe the rain nullified any size advantage by SLO? ...not so lucky in Fargo.

I still associate USD with Harbaugh. Not fair to the Toreros because Harbaugh is three whining jobs past them, but I really wish Cal Poly had won.

I watched this game. USD reminded me of the ags when they were the undersized but smarter and better executing team. USD dominated SLO, and poly was only in the game at all due to a 2nd half k.o. Return for TD and several San Diego turnovers. I think field conditions helped USD, but it really was kind of an embarrassing loss for Poly. What also helped USD is that they had played poly earlier in the season so had practiced for and experienced their unique offense that took poly's normal scheme advantage away.

I am afraid the glass slipper will get cracked in Fargo.

Another Gubrud to Kupp TD right before half time. Eagles take a 21-14 lead after initially falling behind 14-0

San Diego ends up losing 45-7. Not unexpected, but still disappointing. Good season for the Toreros. EWU currently up 24-14. UND and Richmond tied at 7 apiece.

Eastern Washington moves onto the next round defeating Central Arkansas 31-14.

North Dakota Fighting Hawks up 17-7 over Richmond at half.

Richmond and North Dakota all tied up at 24 with 4 minutes left in the game.

Richmond wins on a last second FG 27-24. The Spiders had a huge 2nd half to win this one.

James Madison WHOMPS 12-0 Sam Houston State 65-7. Is this the year that somebody takes down NDSU?

We got a close one going. At halftime NDSU is up on SDSU 14-10.

Bison easily handle the Jacks in the 2nd half. End up winning 36-10.

Eastern Washington is killing it right now. In the 2nd quarter they are up 21-0, but the story of the game so far has been their defense. 4 sacks and 3 forced fumbles so far in the 1st half.

Youngstown State defeats Wofford 30-23 in double overtime. They'll face the winner of Richmond-EWU (as if that's in doubt).

Halftime in the EWU vs Richmond game. Still 21-0 but Richmond has another fumble in the redzone. Not going to win too many games fumbling 4 times in the first half.

EWU scores on the first drive of the 2nd half 28-0. Interesting that it's looking like 3 of 4 quarter final games are going to be blow outs. Still a lot of football to play in this game though.
