Davis has been an exception based on the value of a UC degree, but there will be fewer grad transfers now that COVID era players have aged out.

ESPN has posted no odds yet, but gives the Ags a 3.9% chance of winning.

So a win would be nice, but what are the realistic expectations for this game. A fat paycheck, get out healthy, see how we can compete against a solid fbs program. Other thoughts?

I think that about sums it up. The money and barometer against a legit FBS team are nice, but the absolute biggest thing is coming out of the game healthy. We have a bye week after, but we don't need to be sustaining any major injuries in the game that doesn't really matter (unless we do somehow win).

Shocking, seeing as Wood and Cowboy Hat love pumping any and all media outlets that'll have them take up time. You'd think Sac Sports Radio would still get a lot of listeners - but I imagine it's not what it was 20 years ago, still, whenever I'm in the Sac Area, I still listen to 1140 KHTK, shoot, I'll get it at the point near my house when the weather's right, can catch an Aggie game if I can't make it. The radio play-by-play call for Davis Football is still top notch...and they stream online for a clear signal.

I've been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced. I live about 20 miles from the stadium. However, I'm recovering from a recent knee injury and can't handle that much walking yet.

Wildfire smoke has been bad here the last couple of days and supposed to get worse tomorrow. But it's expected to clear out on Saturday, temperatures in the 60s at game time, and a very slight chance of rain. So conditions should be good.

Local paper said that Chris Peterson still lives across the lake from the stadium, in Bellevue.

Just got an updated forecast and now their saying a 50-60% chance of rain and 15-20% chance of lightening Saturday.

So there's a 15-20% chance that this game also will be "No Contest?"

Thunderstorms are very rare here and rarely last long. So worst case might be a short delay.

Yeah, I know. I lived in Seattle for 8 years. Just trying to be funny. Ironically, today's NFL game was delayed over an hour by a thunderstorm in Philly.
