Should be a good time for all the new Aggies to bond.

Per their Facebook page, Ags won their first exhibition game. Outcome doesn’t really matter but it is always nice to hear that the Aggies dominated the glass.

• Aggies start the foreign tour with a win over Orange1 Bassano! Ags dominated the glass and shared the ball well, with 11 different players in the scoring column. We travel to Croatia tomorrow to begin our next leg of the tour

Looking at the photo of both teams on the Facebook page, it looks like the Ags won the game 100 - 57.

This whole trip is a great experience for the whole team. Some nice photos of the team in Venice on the Facebook page also.

The team travels to Dubrovnik, Croatia tomorrow where they play the final 2 games of the tour.

It looks like freshman big man Jac Mani is in street clothes in the pictures that have been tweeted, so he probably isn't playing... maybe an injury?

I noticed Mani is sweats in the pictures From the first game, but wasn’t sure what the deal was. Also thought I saw someone in a knee brace but didn’t recognize him. Sounds like it’s been a great trip so far. Also saw a picture with the Aggie womens waterpolo team in Split. Pretty cool!

Let's hope it's a minor injury and he recovers. This team is not real deep inside, so we need him.

Absolutely. He’s a talented player and we could certainly use a big man that can step out and hit a jumper.

Eventually we'll get more precise answers the more games the Aggies play, but someone should have some sort of educated guess on how approximately good the Aggies are, right? Has anyone done any research on the teams we beat?

I do not believe the teams were D1 level. So the proof is in the pudding, I can say that the team are a happy bunch and looking forward to a great year.

That's good to hear, a trip they'll remember for a long time. Hopefully the team came out of it with no injuries and can now build upon its summer success.

It appears that freshman Jac Mani, who was dressed in street clothes in the photos after games 1 & 2, was in uniform in the photos after games 3 & 4. That's good news. We don't know if he actually played, though. The only info is from the tweets by someone on the UC Davis Men’s Basketball twitter account. The basketball website has been strangely silent, maybe since everyone was in Europe with the team. Now that they are back home, it would be nice if the athletic department communications people would post a summary of how they did in the 4 games overseas.

That's an excellent preview of this year's Big West teams. Boy, UCSB just reloads each year. They lost Sow to graduation but Pasternack wasted no time in replacing him with Andre Kelly from Cal.

As for the Aggies, there are a lot of new players so we'll have to wait and see how quickly and how well the pieces come together which will take some time as he indicated:

This will be a typical Les team- fast and swarming defensively with some suspect offense.

There will be more than a few “Academy of Art” type offensive performances from this team early, but they could round into a capable unit come BW tournament time.
