Nice article on department website about Darryl Goss, running back in the early 80s (team mate of mine). Darryl has given back to Davis in a big way, serving on various committees and endowing several scholarships. He comes back to a couple games every season. Really good guy. Seemed like a timely article after a discussion in ‘other sports’ about the need for former players to give back.
There is nothing that directly affects a prospective college kid more than directly financing their tuition and costs to attend college. Am a big supporter of private scholarships and older graduates supporting and mentoring the incoming classes.
