Major revisions to Title IX were released today, about 2000 pages worth. Not sure if there are any changes to athletics-related items. From what I have read, the main changes are around how sexual harassment/assault are handled, so could impact some off-the-field stuff. Among other things, it gives schools the choice to use the current standard of "preponderance of evidence" or the higher standard of "clear and convincing evidence." Davis uses the lower standard and I would assume will continue to, but other schools may be free to adopt the higher standard so there could become disparities around the country in terms of acceptable behavior and punishment. Takes effect in August, so administrators around the country are howling about timing. Victim's rights groups are also protesting, so expect to see some lawsuits in the news.
