Returning all of our starters and and getting one of the top HS centers next year really takes the sting out of it a little. Let's go win the WNIT.

I don't think my friend at the Aggie still works there, so I can't be much further help.

I see the paper going two ways with this. They might want to call him out and get engaged, or alternately might feel that if nobody from Davis heard the comments in the first place then it doesn't affect them and won't be appreciated by the cheerleaders to dwell on it. Can't hurt to at least notify them though.

Today it was announced that SDSU's President will be stepping down for a different job. I know the odds are slim, but I really hope we get Hexter as a replacement.

As much as anybody can predict next season, POY may be Chima's to lose next year if he continues this level of performance. As it was this year until the UCI game.

Do we get to go to the NIT if Irvine takes the NCAA bid? I was under the impression from Wikipedia that only the conference champion is eligible for the auto-bid, and it's lost of the champion gets the NCAA bid. Did the rules change?

UCD will play at noon on Friday against the lowest remaining seed on ESPN3.

True, true, I'm just venting. The thing I hate the most to see is other teams doing spectacular unguardable heroics, whether its our fault or luck or their skill or whatever.

I don't think Les should be fired but he needs to go back to the drawing board with how he coaches this team. We're always going to get some help in the Pavilion which is one of the better arenas in the conference and the longest mainland road trip for everyone else. But in order to win conference and win the tournament we have to be a road team.

Is it too late to drop back down to DII?

Remember this is the second-best and most well-rounded team UCD has ever fielded in DI that we're watching here.

I hate it when the opposing MVP basically becomes Steph Curry for a game.

I mean we benefited that for a whole season once but it stinks to be on the receiving end.

We've made comebacks like this before; this isn't actually impossible. We were playing UCI even for the last 6 minutes or so.

The boards he sits on are somewhat less conflict of interest-y than Katehi's boards. I think Sacbee did a passably honest reporting job by breaking the news (I think it was them) in the first place and examining how this is similar and different to Katehi's situation.
