SDSU had the Aztec (5th) DB watching Love almost the whole time, leaving the other DBs out to dry against Stanford's faster receivers.

However penalties, sloppy QB play, and lack of passing game killed SDSU. Stanford is going get their points -- probably more than 31 -- but I think the Ags can keep the score respectable based on what we saw here.

I was just chatting with someone about how sac State should take notes from schools like PSU San Diego who can put together really nice mid-sized arenas with enough admin support and will. If a D1 team is playing in an effective high school gym then something's really going wrong for the program

Conspiracy theory: two of the five rings he has on in the photo op are the WBB championship rings from the last two years.

Otherwise, it's hard to see how the D1-era rings add up to five. If postseason participation gets a ring, then there should be six.

I don't see how Coach Hawk couldn't spin the scrimmage into something positive unless it was a catastrophe, like an all-team brawl or something.
