The Ags will have their hands full at Fullerton on Saturday evening. The Titans came from behind to beat Irvine 67-64 at Irvine to stay undefeated in conference play.

Ags grind out a hard fought win 75-65.

Aggies win 74-63. Rachel Nagel, Pele Gianotti and Dani Nafehk got hot from 3 and the Ags built up a 15 point lead and kept control after that for the win.

Ags stretch the lead a little and are up 9 57-48 at the end of the third.

The Aggies come to life a bit and have a 3 point lead 29-26 at the half.

Riverside takes a 36-30 lead into the half in an ugly basketball game so far. I wouldn't want to be in the locker with Coach Les after that mistake laden half of basketball. The Aggies simply have not found anyone who is a consistent threat to knock down shots outside of the paint.

The Ags get off to an ice cold start shooting only 3-18 for 17% in the first quarter and trail UCR 13-8.

I'll take a split this weekend too. Of course, I hate losing anytime so two wins would make me much happier!

Yes, he is Hawks' son. I think the author of the article must have just taken it for granted that readers would know that. It is a bit surprising, as you noticed, that it wasn't mentioned outright in the article although anyone reading it would clearly surmise the familial connection

Cody Hawkins has quite a nice resume himself for such a young coach.

The Aggie team we saw in the first 9 games of the season is back as the Ags thump Hawai'i 76-52. The Ags came out hot in the first quarter shooting 77% and shot 56% for the game.

Marly Anderson was brilliant off the bench shooting 6 for 6 and just missing a double double with 9 boards. Morgan Bertsch had her spin moves going today and dropped in 26. Nina Bessolo and Cierra Hall brought their energy and athleticism to floor again to lead the Aggie defense. Pele Gianotti had 10.

The Ags had good energy from the start and executed their offense crisply and shot the ball well. They did a much better job on the defensive boards after giving up 10 offensive rebounds in the first half and only allowed 4 more in the second half.

The Aggies played like they are capable today and, if they can bring this kind of energy to the floor each time they play, they'll be very hard to beat.

Great job Aggies!

The Aggies blow the game open in the third and take a 19 point lead into the final quarter 58-39. Morgan Bertsch has 23 on 10 of 14 shooting.

The Ags take a 7 point lead into the half 36-29. They shot 63% from the floor but the Rainbow Wahine grabbed 10 offensive boards and put up 10 more shots and, as a result, have kept themselves within reach.

The Aggies come out with all guns-a-blazin' and shoot 77% to take a 25-18 lead after the first quarter.

The Bison hang on to win another FCS championship 17-14. This game was there for the taking by JMU but their receivers dropped too many wide open, big-gainer passes. The Bison defense gets credit too though for stopping JMU's ability to run the ball and also to get the big stops when they needed it the most. Great game. Can't wait to see the Aggies play for the championship some day before I die...
