  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
Hey, we beat the spread. Stanford was favored by 31.
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
Shaw decides to try and pad the score and the Ags make a 4th down stop. Great job D and questionable decision by Shaw...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
Maier has primarily thrown to Doss with several dropped balls by our other receivers. Stanford's DB's are impressive.
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
This one is about to get ugly...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
    Great job by the defense.

I think Hawk needs to let the offense go up tempo in the 2nd half and try to get in a rhythm. I understand the strategy of using the clock as much as possible but the offense seemed out of sync with Maier constantly taking the play clock down to nearly zero before the snap.
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
17-3 Stanford...the Cardinal is beginning to roll while our offense is pretty much non-existent so far...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
...and yet another poor punt...our D can't carry the entire load...offense has been anemic so far...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
...and now a shanked punt give Stanford great field position...these are the kind of things that we simply can not do and have a chance...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
Our D is doing their job but the offense has not taken advantage of what our D has given them and that may come back to haunt us...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
Our receivers have dropped 3 passes...missing scoring opportunities...
  • Week 3: UC Davis @ Stanford
3-0 Ags after the Nas Anesi interception!

I'm able to stream the game from northern Wisconsin. Go Ags!!

  • New Commit MBB
He looks like a talented player and would be a great fit for us. He currently has offers from Cleveland State, Montana State, Denver, Air Force, Wyoming, UC Riverside, Pepperdine, Pacific, Cal Baptist and Milwaukee. Foster plays for Smoky Hills HS in Aurora, CO, and we also have an offer out to a teammate of his, Quinton Rock, a 6'0 PG.

This statement from the article makes him sound like he fits into the "Siler mold" for sure:

"Pepper's skill set includes the ability to hit dazzling three pointers while also playing shut down defense. But perhaps what Pepper is best known for is the intensity and passion that he plays with."

Les has always said he'll take a hard working competitor over simply pure talent any day.
  • New Commit MBB
With his size and the fact that we'll have some smaller guards on the roster, I wouldn't be surprised to see Les playing him a lot as a SG. He does look like he could be the replacement for Siler when he graduates.

Thanks for everyone's concern about Jaylin White @JaayChristopher. He is doing well. He was kept overnight at the hospital for observation and has been released after receiving great care from our medical staff. #GoAgs

We will have to play a fundamentally solid, smart game and we can not make a bunch of mistakes if we want to be within any reasonable striking distance in the 4th quarter. We have a few big play makers and maybe lightening will strike for us a few times. The biggest challenge I see is how well will our defense be able to stand up to their size and speed for 4 quarters. I hope we can catch Stanford looking past us because no one will realistically be giving us a chance in this game.
