When the schedule was released, there were several folks here, including me, who didn't like the 4 pm start time since it can be still blistering hot here in early October and we were right to be concerned. The forecast is a high of 93 during the game which will be even hotter on the artificial turf. Not only is it tough on the players but it's particularly uncomfortable for the fans who can't find any shade in the stadium and half the stadium will be fully exposed to the sun for most of the game.

You would think that, that after having 14,742 fans at the SUU game, that we would at least match number that if not exceed it for this game against Montana. Unfortunately, some fans won't even come because of the heat and lack of shade in the stadium. Everyone on the east side of the stadium, including the students, will not only be getting baked but the sun will be directly in their eyes for most of the game.

We shouldn't be scheduling games during the heat of the day and early October can still be hot in the valley. I think it will probably be so uncomfortable for the students that many will leave early. Aggie stadium is a heat sump in hot weather and the athletics department blew it with a 4 pm start time in my opinion.

The Ags lost to UC San Diego today 3-1 and stand 1-1-2 in conference play and 5-5-2 for the season.

Fullerton edged the Aggies 1-0 today in a game where the Ags had 18 shots on goal to only 7 by the Titans and had 12 corners to only 3 for Fullerton. Unfortunately, the Aggies couldn't find the back of the net and Fullerton did.

Sac State 31 NAU 30 - Final

Sac made a pick in the end zone on a 12 yard pass by NAU with 1:34 seconds with Sac ahead 31-28. Then Sac took an intentional safety and won the game 31-30. NAU converted several 4th downs on their last drive and had a first down on Sac's 5 before Sac's corner made a great tackle for 7 yard loss and then Sac made the interception in the end zone.

The Aggies beat CSUN in today 4 sets (25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20) and are now 4-0 in the Big West Conference which is their best start ever in conference play. The win is also the last of the 14 straight road games the Aggies have played this year. They finally return to Davis for their first home game of the season against Cal Poly at 6 pm on Thursday, October 6th.

Is the game call on KHTK in sync with the TV broadcast? The TV guys are almost unbearable to listen to.

Hastings is 15-30 for 109 yards = 7.2 yards per pass completion. Our longest pass completion is 8 yards...

We may be up by 17 at the half but our offense is still sputtering. We're going to need more than a good defense to be competitive with the better teams in the Big Sky.

Miles doesn't get much time very often but he's not been very sharp either. I hope we get a really big lead and we get to see what some backup QB's can do.

Yes, and he's constantly under pressure. We'll continue to see lots of short, quick passes until the OL can give him enough time to make the reads and for our receivers to get open on the the mid to long routes.

Our OL continues to struggle on pass protection.

Idaho is loaded. They are big and fast and they have an elite QB and great receivers.

The Aggies beat San Jose State today 15-12.

Idaho and EWU are tied at 21 at the half in a great football game.

EWU has used their 2nd and 3rd string QB's and they've both been effective. Their 3rd string QB is only 5'9 and 175 but he broke 3 tackles and scored on a long TD run. Both teams are willing to gamble and have converted 4th downs on their own 29 line lines.

As much as I don't care for Aaron Best for running up the score against us in the past, I give hime credit, the man can coach and recruit.
