So apparently they didn't call a foul on the Irvine player when Tamba went up for the layup.

Just prior to the official review, the announcer said that there was a foul by Irvine's #11 (Tillis). After the review, Tamba ended up with a T and didn't get to shoot any FT's. I have no idea what happened. Luckily, Irvine missed both of the FT's.

I saw that these two teams have played 17 games against each other that were decided by 3 points or less.

The defensive intensity by both teams was incredible and the officials were letting them play otherwise we would have had 50 fouls. I really appreciate great defense and I think we just saw the two best defensive teams in the Big West battle it out.

Great basketball game. Great crowd and a really fun game for the Aggie fans! I hope they'll come back because this team is playing their hearts out and deserve to be supported.

The Aggies 5 game winning streak is over as they got thumped today at Irvine 79-61.

The Ags came back from being down 11 twice in the second half to pull this one out 67-65.

The Aggies won this one from the FT line as they hit 28-33. I thought that Johnson energized the team with his hustle and determination in the second half especially when he started driving the ball and getting fouled.

Pepper is not shooting well either even though he has 18. The problem is that there is virtually no scoring from anyone else.

35-26 Fullerton at the half. The Aggies did not play well in their last game against Bakersfield and that poor play has continued through the first half tonight.

Both Pepper and TY are capable of making a play like that. TY made an amazing, acrobatic layup at the buzzer to beat Pepperdine this year.

I don't think Les wanted a timeout in that situation. Johnson, for whatever reason, just called the timeout. You could see that Pepper was like "what are you doing TY?" It wasn't a good decision by TY especially since Pepper had a full head of steam and was nearly across midcourt. He would have been able to get within his 3 point range and put up a final shot. Eli was surprised by the timeout. TY thought he was doing the best thing in that situation but I'm sure Les would have preferred to let Pepper keep going and put up the final shot.

The timeout allowed Bakersfield to set up their defense and, as a result, Adebayo barely got off a contested half court shot when the inbounds pass was nearly deflected and stolen.
