This whole mismanaged, hyperbolic, football pipe dream is an absolute disaster for Sac State football. Dr Wood and his cohorts are the arsonists that that started the fire that burned the program to the ground. I feel bad for all the players that bought into Marion's charisma and took the bait of his "one year can change your life" mantra only to now be left on a rudderless ship.

Competing well in the MWC for all sports except football and growing the football program to the level of the Montana's and the Dakota's sound good to me.

I think the 7 pm start will hurt attendance. It makes for a very late drive home for fans who live quite a ways away and it will be too late for many local families with young children. It will also be very chilly and some fans will stay home just because of that. An afternoon game would have been much better for a good crowd. I hope we get at least 7000.

Poly runs away with the 4th set 25-15 and wins the Big West Tournament and earns an auto-bid to the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately, the Aggies' great season ends in disappointment.

The Ags finally got in a rhythm taking the 3rd set 25-20.

Poly takes the 2nd set 25-20.

Poly wins the first set decisively 25-16...simply overpowered the Ags.

Great game preview, Toke! Very tough game for the Aggies and the Hawaii fans are as rowdy as they come making it a tough environment too!

The win over UCSB was quite a match with every set being a nail-biter: 25-23, 23-25, 29-27, 27-25). Poly will be an another very tough match. The Mustangs beat the Ags in 4 sets in their only match earlier this season.
