I had a similar experience with my kids at Sac State. Foul language directed at my kids in their Aggie gear. I learned to stay away from their tailgate area.

I watched their game against SJ. Martinez is a beast. Pac 12 offensive freshman of the year, athletic freshman all American first team, it goes on and on.

Two years ago i was in the middle of “nowhere, TX,” driving to my destination on a Friday night. The highway took me past the HS where they were playing a football game. The number of cars parked all around the HS was unreal. They take their football serious down there.

Beavers play SJ state Sunday, televised on CBS, 12:30. SJ was beat easily by USC 56-28. With our Thursday game, thus gives us a few extra days to scout and prep for the Beavers.
