Lots of predictable running plays in the 1st quarter, 3 and out. One 6 plays and out. Then we buried them in one series passing, and went back to the predictable running game while they buried us.

Which makes me wonder, as has been commented on previously, whether Maier is banged up.

Plenty of times poly was the favorite and we knocked them off. You can usually throw out records for a rivalry game. I do think the Aggies will be up for this game after a close loss to EWU and tough loss to NAU.

Are we heading there a day early to get acclimated?

Since the guys are essentially practicing at sea level, it takes at least 3 weeks to acclimate physiologically to high altitude. They will certainly be performing at some percent less then the athletes who are truly acclimated to the high elevation.
