Hawk seems to like to have the ball on first possession of the game. I'll be looking for them to test the secondary on first or second snap of the game, maybe with the long ball. If that's the case, my vote is Maier.

From what ive seen, Hawk keeps his cards tight, with the exception of getting the ball to Doss. We’ll have a good idea of where we are at in a few weeks. My hope, as others have commented, improvement in the D. I’ll throw in increased efficiency inside the 20.

What time does the tailgate start?

For those familiar with the traffic woes in the San Jose area, any tips on beating it for the travel from the Davis area to the San Jose game? What time do we need to get through San Jose before rush hour?

I hope our D can put more pressure on the QB this year. Just that one factor would change some of the outcomes as time runs out.

Where was san diego on the pre season polls (tereros)? What about stanford and san jose? Hopefully we dont catch stanford on one of there strong years.
