Any word on Gilliam?

Does anyone know if #33, Bennet, has been playing? He got a targeting call several games ago (I didnt think it was the correct call), and havent noticed if he has been playing since.

i can understand a noon start if at Hughes Stadium, but not in Davis :).

I really feel that these middle of the day games affect the turnout. Bring back the late afternoon/early evening games. The kids can study all day then catch the game.

While driving gome after the game, the radio guys said Gilliam was hurt in the first quarter. We saw him on the side lines for a while, but did not see him during the second half.

Overall, the Ags look good. Need to tighten up the penalties. We seem to be hot in spurts amd have not seen them put together 4 quarters. They might need to next week.

This week at practice, Porter was taking first-string reps at quarterback, working to learn how to throw different route patterns.

“It's unfortunate they don’t have much of a rep base,” Souers said after practice Wednesday. “It’s very difficult to get overly complex or implement any new stuff, so we’re trying to run what we run and run it well.”

“They got the best thrower right now in the country and he’s lighting it up every week,” Souers said. “He’s a guy, again, if you let receivers run loose he’s going to find them and he’ll exploit that. We need to do a great job of technique, we need to do a great job and keep competing because they are going to get yards.”

That should work in our favor.

The Idaho state -psu game has the potential to be interesting. I was at the psu game last week. They are improved and playing inspired football. While i totally expect an Idaho state win, don’t be surprised if psu is competitive in this one.
