  • 2019 Recruiting List
Enjoyable time last night at the El Macero signing party. Visited with Dr. Mike and several folks in athletics. Coach didnt have a lot to say about the recruiting class specifically. Sticking with his MO, he was very philosophical about the kind of players he likes to recruit. He did say that to win a championship, you have to “run the ball and stop the run.” He referenced the size of the N. Iowa line, and that we counter that with our guys being better students of the game. I remember his similar comments at the first reception in that regard. That getting size on the line is a process. He feels this next year we will make additional progress in running the ball better.

We should get a good run down Wednesday night :).
  • Tailgate/season pass renewal
And as you look at Finn’s map, it’s easy to see why they do not have a solution yet, or at least are not making it public. I still think Hutchinson field is the best candidate. The area west of the stadium looks like a smaller footprint to me. If our program is going to expand, we need to be in a position to expand the pre game experience as well. I am slightly worried that we could end up somewhere away from the stadium and be bussed in for the game.
  • MBB 1/10: Aggies (4-10, 0-0) at Irvine (12-4, 0-0)
Tuned in late, but offensive rebounds looking weak.
  • Keelan Doss to play in the East-West Shrine Game
Well, it was sure enjoyable watching him in an Aggie uniform. Ironic, drafted by Gould, he likely would not have had the attention with a Gould style offense. Looking forward to watching him on Sundays.
  • MBB 1/5: Holy Names (4-9) @ UCD (3-10)
I was planning on going as well and whimped out.
  • Big Sky membership changes are coming
Sioux, thanks for stopping by. I certainly don't have a pulse on FBS and FCS politics, but i don’t see UC Davis making the big jump anytime in the near future. And I dont see any evidence that we have always had FBS plans, other than some posts on this board. Heck, weve had changes in Chancellors, ADs, and coaches. Any aspirations from previous adminitrators would be long gone.

I remember well. I actually thought Randy had a decent game considering the circumstances.
  • MBB 12/28: Aggies (3-8) @ Loyola Marymount (11-2)
I turned it off, partly bc the stream was lousy. Tuned in Iowa state - WSU, good game.

I had the same thought. Their D looked impressive. Last time we played them we got slapped. Should have a better chance in August.

They need to rename this the “pick bowl”, lol.
  • Looking Forward to 2019
Cal and TCU kicking off shortly. Havent watched a cal game all season. Maybe get an inkling of what we can look forward to late August.
  • MBB 12/22: Aggies (3-7) @ Arizona (8-4)
    ↪DrMike

I have directv. For some reason theyve dropped the pac12 network.
  • MBB 12/22: Aggies (3-7) @ Arizona (8-4)
Scratch that. They give you 5 minutes free then prompt you to sign in.
  • MBB 12/22: Aggies (3-7) @ Arizona (8-4)
I downloaded the pac12 app and it gave me the game for free. Shared it to apple tv, and have it on the big screen :).

    ↪Oldbanduhalum

If you have hulu i think you can stream the game from there.
  • Sears OUT at Sac State
Does the fact that Sucs new assist. coach has a son on the aggies create a conflict? Confidentiality of game plans, etc ?
  • 2019 Recruiting List
Well, they focus on the run, but really didnt think he would go to Fresno.
  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington v2.0
From Mark Speckman about an hour ago. Good news on TT.

" I am very excited that 2017 recruiting class RB Tehran Thomas will be back helping lead the ground game. "

It would be great to get him, not only for our team but for his future. But I'm going against the grain, I think he will stay in Nevada.
