The Lehigh game notes are above, but they are a pass oriented offense. They appear to be shifting their O line around for our game, so we may see them do what Cal and USD did with the run, which unfortunately was effective against our D. But during the last few games, they averaged 50 yards per game.

From what Ive seen with Cal Poly, they are legit this year. I hate the triple option :). I was supposed to be out of state for home coming. Doing my best to change those plans.

Blue's wife works in Silicon Valley and I have been told that she actually commutes there in a private plane from the UCD airport. Los Angeles would be a tougher commute. I was raised down there. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind wanting to live down there now. The traffic is so bad, even during non commute hours, that it literally takes hours to go short distances. I was down there a few years ago. Had to travel 9 miles to make dinner reservations in Santa Monica. And I know all the back roads to "beat the traffic." Still took me 1 hour 15 minutes to do 9 miles. No thank you. Quality of life in the Davis area is much better.

I totally agree. USD was way tougher then I expected. But as Dr. Mike pointed out, we just couldn't pull away from them which would have put them in a "must pass" situation. Once their run game got going, we just couldn't stop them with consistency. I was very disappointed in the amount of time their QB had to make his throws. We have got to do better on D to stop them at the line and pressure the QB. I can tell you right now that Barriere would have eaten us alive Saturday.

Were we out coached in this game?

Unclear what that looks like but probably would not be welcome on campus.
