Just finished watching the webinar. Glad to see we have some studs with speed coming in on the DL. We often get burned by mobile QBs.

Looking for a bright spot, maybe the pandemic and subsequent virtual recruiting allowed us to spread our wings into areas that we normally don’t draw from.

I can tell you from experience that campus tags on a huge tax, or whatever you want to call it, on building projects. Their certainly needs to be oversight, but when donors are evaluating costs, writing the check for overhead expenses is a tough sell. The same thing essentially happens with grant funds. The Chancellor takes a piece followed by the department. Those indirects never seem to trickle down.

It looks like Rocko is leading the search committee. That’s unfortunate, I’d like to see him as an applicant.

Well darn. He is a young guy and with his skill set he will continue to advance his career. Many of us have braced ourselves for this and anticipated it would eventually happen. I wish him and his family all the best. He will be a tough act to follow.

My first impression was that it’s an early decision. But with the number of people congregating in tight places, like trying to see a chicken hatch from an incubator, it’s probably a good idea. Virtual works.

COVID testing required every 7 days starting 12/1 to access campus. Did my first one this morning. They are fast and efficient. I was impressed by the efficiency. I can easily see this incorporated to screen fans prior to events to improve safety. Turn around time is supposed to be 24-48 hours.

That sounds right. I was referring to “antigen” in contrast to an antibody test. I guess pcr would be classified into a subcategory, “molecular test.”

PCR is an antigen test.

I am just totally clueless on what to expect from these teams.
