Very true. My wife and I were impressed with how polite and well spoken the players were when we met them at the Team Aggie gathering. Chubba surprised me. Here is this big guy who is actually soft spoken and very humble. Meeting them then watching them perform added a new dimension to our game day experience.

Hopefully they were “honest” mistakes and not willfully ignored by the line judge(s). I can think back about a few calls during various causeways that i thought were home town calls. Do they use local refs or are they league assigned from out of town?

After watching EWU-Fresno, EWU has another good QB who is a strong scrambler. SUU dropped >300 yards on us in the air. I think our secondary is really going to get tested this week by EWU. Too bad we didn’t get them last year when they were down. As others have mentioned, this game is a pivotal contest in the big picture for this season.

On the bright side our kicking game looks solid, Hastings didn’t have any pics, and Larison is turning out to be a game changer.
Miles was under a ton of pressure and had to roll out to stay away from the rushers. On the other hand, SUU #12 had more time to pick his shots. We didn’t get any sacks (and neither did they). While this was a better game for Miles, I thought he was putting a lot of fire on his passes, sometimes being a little behind the receiver. Gale had several drops that i think were related to that.
The “no call” interference on the north west endzone where the suu defender pushed our receiver from behind likely would have been a TD.
SUU is looking good. Right now we look to be a middle of the pack big sky team. On to EWU. I really dislike their coach, and while I would like to see us embarrass them, I’m not so sure we have the ammo to pull it off.

I had a similar experience with my kids at Sac State. Foul language directed at my kids in their Aggie gear. I learned to stay away from their tailgate area.
