I’m not so sure its Cleeland’s job to lose at this point, but i did think Cleeland had a better command of the offense. I do like the fact that Cleeland throws the ball away instead of holding on to it, trying to make something happen, and take the sack.

I chatted with Rex Friday. He’s not going anywhere. He’s excited about the upcoming season.

Turnout was low but rather typical for the spring game.

Both quarterbacks need work. I thought Cleeland was a little better getting rid of the ball vs taking the sack. Lots of 60 yard punts but punt protection still needs work.

Sort of like the wine event, folks didn’t jump on board until late.

I watched the qb drills today on Biggs field then on to the stadium. I thought kollock was throwing the better balls today. But on the mobility drills I thought Traynor had the edge. Anybody’s guess at this point.

Dr. mike, one of his team mates and i went to practice today. I got there early and sat in on the team meeting, QB room, and then Tim’s installation of the offense. Totally agree with the spread on the qb competition. Its tight and i don’t think you can go wrong with either guy. And both Kollock and Cleeland can scramble. The D looks rock solid. Saw what looked like some new recruits with their parents at the team meeting and on the sidelines during practice.

At the last lunch Josh said it would be promoted heavily on social media and emails as the main donation days got closer.

I’ve never seen anyone tailgate for the spring game but its a great idea!

I’m looking forward to watching Kollock in action. I met him in Costco a week ago. He’s a big dude. His HS stats are impressive:

At the lunch Plough was real high on the freshman who saw some action last year. And there’s a number 2 guy that’s apparently studly as well. Sorry, don’t remember the names but it sounds like we have a great replacement for Psyk.

There was a comment regarding not going public with this announcement until a certain date. They made a point of saying it was off the record.
Importantly, they need 350 donors to donate any amount on give day which is 4/17 i believe. Apparently the head count is important to open up a larger gift. Donate something, even just lunch money :).

I’be been going monthly since Plough started. It’s a really fun lunch, allows you to get to know the coach and interact with a bunch of Aggie “regulars.”
It started out as just a few of us having coffee and donuts in the Bruce Edwards room with coach then it evolved into lunch at Froggys. As more people started joining, they had to move it to Sudwurks. Now, there’s lots of new faces with a packed room!
