I’be been going monthly since Plough started. It’s a really fun lunch, allows you to get to know the coach and interact with a bunch of Aggie “regulars.”
It started out as just a few of us having coffee and donuts in the Bruce Edwards room with coach then it evolved into lunch at Froggys. As more people started joining, they had to move it to Sudwurks. Now, there’s lots of new faces with a packed room!

At the lunch he said he was fielding a lot of inquirers from potential qb recruits.

There must be a reason that this seems so stealth. I haven’t seen anything on X, instagram, or FB from Rex or any of the coaches. Maybe something in the agreement that its not publicized?

I asked Rex at the last lunch when he would be able to work out with the team. He said August.

“ I thought at the fundraiser he said some about the chancellor agreeing to allowing some number of out of states (10, maybe?) to be charged for cost of attendance”
If he did i missed it. But at the last lunch he was reiterating the 2 scholly cost. Maybe past tense?

Tim says each out of state recruit costs him 2 scholarships. So it needs to be an impact player like Lan or Rex :).

Thanks for the informative write up. It might be interesting to look at the NIL budget for each team specifically for basketball. My guess is Jim is going to have to do “more for less.”

Tim said the spring game will be on picnic day. They have it worked out with campus to have the parade end at the stadium and the game starting right after that.

I think the announcers are right. Fullerton has fresh legs, our game last night took some of our energy away.

Les is doing a lot of substitutions, maybe looking for the winning combo?

Conner gets a 3 to drop. Maybe he’ll get his mojo back.

Wilson reminds me of Caden. Doesn’t show emotion, stays focused, and makes it happen. Looking forward to his development under Les.

It’s obvious Connor is still healing, and he took a hard foul coming down on his injured wrist, but still helped seal the deal hitting 8 straight FTs down the stretch. Should that foul on Connor have been a flagrant?

And 0 out of 4 against UCI. He must still be hurting.
