The very bad bad tacky sign used by WY to intimidate the opposition: “Danger- 7229’ elevation” with devils head flashing and groaning. Did not work at all. I saw the Ute KS game. I was not that impressed with KS. They do not defend really well, but they do have some great shooters. I doubt that they have seen a lot of teams with the defensive pressure we can bring to bare. They do not have a Morgan either. They do have a lot of fans and are loud at home. I feel we can work that out and hopefully pull out a victory. It will be very hard but doable. Also, great coaching job by Jennifer today!

One of the best games the ladies have played this year! Altitude, hostile crowd no problem and Morgan just keeps getting better and better. Great game all around!!!

Like Oregon State, another team with a lot of foreign players. Which means that they hit the boards fearlessly which is not our strong suit; so Pele and Morgan really have to play tough or we could be in for a long day.

I love my Lady Ags so much. I wish them the best tonight. Saw their team picture. I think they are the best and most beautiful bunch of successfully athletic young woman I have ever seen. Psychiatrist friend of mine once said that there is a very strong correlation between woman’s attractiveness and intelligence (look at some Hollywood stars: Reese, etc.) but also with athleticism. We have it both here with this team. Win or lose tonight I will always love this special team.

Yes we deserve a home game. Very disappointed in this outcome, but it was a great season overall and the gals played their hearts out and they should absolutely not be hanging their heads. Let’s win the WNIT!!!

72 I do agree. The Berkeley athletics philanthropic base so far overpowers anything we have that is it actually somewhat humorous. I know an attorney in SF who has no ties to Berkeley and very little interest in football (he went to UCSB undergrad and Columbia’s Law school and is a “wine law expert”), yet he told me that he felt it was very advantageous for his firm to buy annual box seats for the Berkeley games for the benefit of his firm. That’s what a thousandfold dollars price tag? Maybe much more. Even my Berkeley pals will not buy these tickets because they are so over priced. I will be very surprised if any of our teams get the philanthropic support that could support rowing. Sorry, its back to beach volleyball.
