JOB SUMMARY
Under the director of the Head Men's Basketball Coach, responsibilities include implementation and oversight of the men's basketball operating budget of $350,000 and the Men's Basketball Grant-In-Aid fund of $400,000, Video Streaming Liaison for the Big West Conference, all men's basketball team travel, coordination of men's basketball camps and clinics, working with the coaching staff and a variety of fan, alumni, and booster groups that support the men's basketball program, coordination of all men's basketball recruiting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Move and lift injured athletes. Lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work irregular shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Work occasional varied lunch hours.
Travel with the men's basketball team required for some games.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Knowledge of intercollegiate sport structure, including NCAA, conference and institutional rules, as they apply to UC Davis.
Demonstrated skills to analyze, interpret, and review NCAA rules and regulations. Professional knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of NCAA athletics programs at the Division I level.
Skills to multi-task and work in a very busy/stressful environment with frequent interruptions.
Computer skills to develop and maintain efficient modes of communication, compliance, budget and database management
Preferred
Organizational and management skills to develop and oversee all administrative requirements in relation to the men's basketball program.
Knowledge of budgetary, fiscal, fund accounting and bookkeeping principles and practices, to manage the budgets and prepare required reports and projections (experience preferred).
