In my opinion, a move to D1A would be a big mistake for A&T. Don’t think they really have the infrastructure, institutional, and fan support. No HBCU has been D1A to my knowledge.

We at NC State mentally subtracted a full grade point for their students wanting to attend grad school here. They are no Howard academically.

Have to wonder if their victory over ECU last year helped galvanize the thought of jumping - but ECU was horrible last year. Seems to me that the HBCUs should open up to playoff invites from FCS, rather than jump to FBS. Problem with that are the traditional rivalry games that do draw big crowds.

movielover. I do not know about O line other than I think most are back so a year of experience under their collective belts. Yes running was limited at Stanford, but Tehran Thomas was out and the offensive strategy was different than other games ....close to the vest and short passing game. I still can’t believe how many dropped passes there were. Give Stanford D credit.

Kind of weird to think 4 years ago with a Gould team that the ags scored 4 touchdowns against Oregon. Of course Oregon nearly doubled them up in points.

that was the last time the two met and ags with a first game QB - that game was a big goner from the start. Far different in my opinion going into this one. Kal with a mediocre QB and in my opinion Maier the better QB. Aggie O should score points- how the ags hang in this one will be dependent on the defense. I think Kal -14 is a reasonable line. It would be nice to make a showing like weber did a couple years back.

LOL. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed watching the Ags stomp Montana on their home field last year. Made me regret not going to the game. I just never have liked Hauck....part of it glossing over the behavioral issues of his teams.

Dalton Sneed was listed. We all know how that worked out last year for the Griz. The better QBs are the ones who go up, e.g., Vernon Williams, although that of course are normally grad transfer situations.

Wow. Couldn’t watch so I tuned to the Utah state game (another alma mater and Aggie’s too). Was shocked when I checked back.

The real difference in my mind is the Hawai’i defense. UCI looked like a high school defense by comparison and were in a collapsed zone. Aggie’s jave not adjust to the man-to-man defense.

18 points at half??? They look really lost with Hawaii’s man to man defense (or should that be woman to woman).

Scoring is pathetic. That is the real problem. Aggie’s look lost with Hawaii’s defensive pressure.

Hawaii is pressuring out high and it looks like UCD not prepared to adjust. UCI collapsed more leaving open 3 point shots.

It just looks like they are losing their poise and forcing things. Hawai’i looks 10x better than UCI at least now. They will start missing shots but Aggies need to settle down.

from what I saw Irvine was missing shots largely due to the UCD defense. They are very well coached and a joy to watch.

Is it just me or does Schneider become kind of a head case come tourney time?
