Weber State just absolutely cannot move ball on JMU.

234-34 total yardage advantage to JMU at half.

JMU defense stuffing Weber offense. Weber hanging in with defense. Only Weber score off interception. Unless Weber finds some offense, I don’t see how they can pull it off. In any event it goes to show that most teams that get this far can play defense.
  • Bob Stitt out as head coach of Griz football

Back to competing with Felony State University in ethics bowl with Hauck at Helm. With the shenanigans that occurred under his reign and the lack of accountability one would think they would not go there. But I guess Montana is Montana.

movielover. I have about 7 espn “extra” channels with the extortionist spectrum (former Time Warner cable) so I could see all the D1AA playoff games. I drop all off the extra stuff after football. By the way,
My money is on JMU or NDSU. Sam Houston Institute if Technology almost choked against South Dakota (Streveler is a beast).

38-3 early 4th. USD has 130 yards after shredding NAU last week. Maybe Big Sky defense needs to stiffen up to be real contenders?

Amen brother. Although I watched the Weber State SUU game and Weber looked pretty stout.

USD getting manhandled by NDSU lines. NDSU<>NAU

USD D was super. Tackled and swarmed. Controlled both lines of scrimmage and played very smart. Reminded me of the Ags back in the day against superior athletes. Northern Arizona looked out of sorts and shell -shocked all game. They were never in it.

USD will likely lose soundly against NDSU who is much more stable and consistent tha. NAU. But I will look forward to watching the game.

The team was fun to watch but when you give up as many points as the ags did you will end up with a mediocre record at best. If I were recruiting I would focus on both lines. After watching Wisconsin Beat michigan I realize why a normal looking offense can be undefeated. The line of scrimmage is the answer. Imagine if the ags had an upper quartile defense even in the big sky? They would be league champs.

and "Gluten served here." Their hot dogs are better than the ones at Dobbins Stadium too. Our possible collective German ancestors would be appalled !

    Zwei bratwurst bitte.
  • Week 11: Southern Utah Thunderbirds
If you watch the top teams- they can run and play defense. The line of scrimmage is a weak spot for the Ags and that is where most games are won. A solid o-line and a couple of really good running backs would have made a big difference. Really need to recruit lineman in my opinion. On both sides of the ball.

I believe it. Took a tour about 1.5 years ago with group of dept. heads of their (A&M) new stadium. Saw the yell bus go by (takes students to yell practice). Whole different priority there.

I remember Calvin Ellison Mo’s go to guy. Nowhere the physicality of Doss though. Doss can high point the ball. I think Ellison had to stand on top toes to be 5”9”.

26 needs to learn to keep foot on pedal until one is in end zone. Nice jump of route though.
  • Idaho State
yes. Certainly in talent. Rich martini did a couple years pro and fells as TE, but don’t know of anyone else. Enos got a lot of grabs but nowhere the go to potential of Doss.

Can anyone remember when we had a breather against a big sky opponent and didn’t contract high blood pressure worrying about a marginal lead?
  • Idaho State
he ran hard towards end zone so more exposure. I like the way he runs hard though and he has legitimate size.
  • Idaho State
Nice to see scoring in red zone and not going so conservative.

yah and i’ve Already had a drink. Hopefully don’t have to go into medicinal mode.
  • Idaho State
If i. 4th quarter change it up. But otherwise do what you are best with. Doesn’t seem that complicated. UCD is not multidimensional enough to go conservative.
