I would have to go back and look at last year's thread to look at the breakdown, but a lot of the recruiting twitter accounts I follow basically say that the early signing date has become the standard signing date and the February date has basically become a supplementary signing date. That being said it is going to vary greatly from team to team based on how many scholarship spots they need to fill. I think NDSU signed 25 today... Sac State signed 2.

Official release on the players we signed today. Peterson not included, that leads me to believe that he signed a letter of intent as a preferred walk-on which some players do. That being said, there are wonky rules about teams being able to officially announce them as part of the team if they are a PWO.

Levelle Bailey as predicted signed with Fresno State

QB Jeff Widener signed with Northern Arizona. He looked like a very strong passer. That being said, I'm not too broken up about it since we got Hastings and Tompkins.

Well I know a lot of TEs also played like DE in high school but you would think that we would have just recruited them as DEs if that was the case. The announcement tweet specifically have them at TE. I suppose it was one of the thinner positions we had. 2/4 TEs that were on our roster last season are going to be seniors this next year.

Kind of strange that Davis hasn't put out any mention of Peterson's signing yet? I've found other stories on twitter about him signing this morning. Those stories also confirm him to be playing WR. 3 WRs and 3 TEs.

Well as soon as Peterson's letter comes through I think that will probably do it for today. Thanks for the help with the list everyone. We'll do it again in February to see who finishes out the class.

Out of his finalists I don't see him choosing Wyoming, but it could be a toss between the rest.

Per Peterson's high school's instagram page he has signed, but I haven't seen it come through on Davis' twitter account yet.

Most I can find on Figueroa is his maxpreps page. He's not listed on 247, scout, or rivals so he's really an under the radar kind of guy.

Rushed for close to 1400 yards last season, averaging 8.4 yards per carry, 10 TDs. Added 300 yards receiving and 4 TDs.

That's my assumption.

Tedford has really turned Fresno State around. They will likely keep doing well in the Mountain West, but they aren't national championship contenders. There is that possibility at Davis.

I know Fresno fans online are encouraging him to go there. Davis players were in his ear on twitter too though. Fresno has some talented runners too though. Their leading rusher this season was a freshman just like us. Gotta make a business decision on where you will get more play time and a better education... the answer is Davis.
