• Aggie Ascent - Facilities Master Plan Release
At the current stadium my buddy and I always enjoy walking the concourse at halftime. Spacious enough to keep the people moving. If the inner pathway is congested (especially in front of Edwards)
You can divert to the back by the concessions on the East or West side. With renovations I hope they keep it similar.

Totally agree. Coach Kirby Moore should be sitting in with Pinnick. Much like Mike Leach (Pirate) used to do with Gardner Nimshew. Their pressers were hilarious! Little did fans know that the development of “Fear the Stache” would become Wazzu’s mantra.
Pinnick needs to understand that regardless of the games outcome, you must be poised at pressers.
You’re constantly developing your brand. Isn’t that what the NIL is about?
  • Week 4: Stetson at UC Davis
Kollack deserves decent playing time with the 1s in the Stetson game. Let’s see what he can do. I understand that Coach Plough will probably stick with Cleeland. Both QBs are unproven, but this is a competition for QB1. Let’s be fair. Go Ags!
  • 2026 Week 3: UC Davis @ SMU
I kept Coach Dan Hawkins quotes in my notes. He was so instrumental in Aggies Football and the comeback. Here’s some of his quotes: (circa 2018)

“When the going gets tough, just keep chopping wood.”

“Put a rock on the gas pedal.”

“We’ve got the oven preheated, right at the temperature we want, now let’s bake it up.”

“You gotta get out of your comfort zone a little bit in life. You gotta be willing to risk a little bit in life, if you want the good stuff. You just can’t play it safe all the time.”

“To be the man, you gotta BEAT the man.”

“Every good thing trickles down from you.”
  • 2026 Week 3: UC Davis @ SMU
One of coach Dan Hawkins quotes: “Put a rock on the gas pedal”. That’s exactly what the SMU coach will do in the second half. Time for the Aggies to play the reserves. Forget the score.
  • 2026 Week 3: UC Davis @ SMU
Cleeland’s true measure will be against Montana. Not a 19th ranked SMU or a Stetson. With ample time Cleeland has made some good throws. He be under duress this Saturday. Nothing substitutes game day experience against a top tier team. The Aggies staff will have the team prepared. Go Ags!
  • Davis Needs To Step Their Branding Game Up
Davis Winemakers are like the Idaho Vandals “Fighting Taters.” Lol
Aggies is tradition and is our history.

  • Big Sky Games Week 2
Would be nice to schedule a MW team. On Sept 12th Cal Poly plays San Jose state and Montana State plays UNR.
  • 2026 Week 1: UC Davis @ Portland State
The Aggies seem to be overlooking Portland. If Plough doesn’t change QB’s soon, there will be no joy today. I’m surprised by the casual effort so far. A tale of two halves? I’m trying to be optimistic.
  • Big Sky Week 1 - 2026
Weird play calling by Shoemaker in the red zone. Vandals settle for a FG. CP 7-3. Two mobile QBs.
  • Big Sky Week 1 - 2026
Interesting game tomorrow. The Vandals picked up former EWU OC Shoemaker. During his tenure at EWU with Barriere their offense averaged 500yds/game. Can Shoemaker replicate this with Joshua Wood this season? Only time will tell.
  • New Aggie Merchandise Site
Movielover: The quarter zip fleece I bought was $39.95 which is probably regular price. I think the hoodies were a little cheaper, but I don’t recall exactly how much they were. I suspect the Aggie gear was out last week for the first playoff game with RI. There were lots of L and XL available. No medium that I usually wear. I tried on the small and it fit perfectly so I bought it. Costco usually marks down clothing so I would look for a price reduction if you live nearby.
  • New Aggie Merchandise Site
Jdur: The spot I’m referring to is next to the concessions on the West side with a “Merchandise” sign. I believe it was open when we went to the Idaho State game. Years ago when my daughter attended Davis they used to have pop up tents near the main entrance that had nice gear. My wife and I bought a couple of vests and jackets that we still wear.
  • New Aggie Merchandise Site
I stopped by the Woodland Costco before the game and bought a quarter zip fleece by champion with an embroidered CA logo. There was a pullover hoody that I didn’t buy. Last year before the Illinois State game I did buy a hoody at Costco. Very nice quality. The downtown Aggie store didn’t open till noon so we went to Sudwerk for lunch instead. At the game we saw the playoff merchandise in Edwards. Didn’t see anything we liked. The usual Aggie merchandise spot around the back was closed.
  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: Illinois State (10-4) @ #8 UC Davis (9-3)
We were in section 123 as well. Pinnick was sitting alone. But when he got up, Plough was talking to him. Coach Plough is a great mentor. Just watched Plough’s emotional presser on KCRA. He loves this team. I hope Pinnick sees this and comes back for another season.
The Redbirds were the better team today. Illinois State knew the goal line play where Pinnick threw the interception. It was similar to last weekends Aggies touchdown against Rhode Island. Great season Aggies!

  • 71st Causeway Classic: UC Davis vs. Sac State
cmt: The game will be on CW58 @1pm even though the Clemson/Furman game is listed on my Direct tv. I called KCRA for confirmation. Go Ags!
  • Homecoming: Northern Arizona @ UC Davis
Dr. Mike you were right. Coombs dialed up the defensive schemes to put pressure on Pennington. I think it wore on Pennington as the game went on. The defense also forced 4 fumbles which was key. While the Aggies had a slow first half, they made up for it in the second half. Wow, what a game. Bye week comes in at a good time for players to rest and heal up. Go Ags!
  • Homecoming: Northern Arizona @ UC Davis
QB1 vs QB 1. Agree it will be a high scoring game. First to 50 wins?
