Aggies have a good chance from what you’ve analyzed
  • MBB: UC Riverside (13-6, 6-1) at UC Davis (11-7, 4-2) Thurs., Jan. 19, 5:00 pm
I see your football photo, my son played in 1998
  • MBB: UC Davis (10-7, 3-2) at UCSD (6-11, 1-4) Mon. Jan. 16 at 3:00 pm
    Just an observation
  • MBB: UC Davis (8-7, 1-2) at CSUN (3-12, 0-4) Weds. Jan. 11 at 7:00 pm
    Me too
  • MBB: UC Davis (8-7, 1-2) at CSUN (3-12, 0-4) Weds. Jan. 11 at 7:00 pm
A needed win. Hope TY wasn’t badly injured
  • MBB: CSU Bakersfield (5-9, 1-2) at UC Davis (8-7, 0-2) Sat., Jan. 7, 5:00 pm
Hope so. Close games, unfortunately lost. Doesn’t help if high scorers also have the most TOs, and missed shots. We have had several games now where this has caused losses also with missed free throws. There are 5 players on the team, knowing where their team mates are might help.
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-5) at Hawai`i (9-3) Thurs, Dec. 29, 8:59
I agree about not capitalizing the TOs. Hawaii had excellent defense so I’m hoping the offense in the future can work that out. They took some terrible shots when they didn’t need to.
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-5) at Hawai`i (9-3) Thurs, Dec. 29, 8:59
I believe we gave Hawaii a wake up call. Also UCDavis. Shooting 20+ in non conference. Not that easy. Keep up the great defense. Have to make the points on turnovers
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-5) at Hawai`i (9-3) Thurs, Dec. 29, 8:59
Hope we can outrun him. If the ball goes in the net there won’t be any rebounds. Good luck Aggies, enjoy the warm weather
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-5) at Hawai`i (9-3) Thurs, Dec. 29, 8:59
If. And it’s if. They have fewer turnovers and make more free throws and rebounds, they have a chance. I’m optimistic. Play as a team
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-4) at #16 UCLA (10-2) Wed. Dec. 21, 2 pm
To me it’s the unforced errors that prevents them from winning the games they should. They seem to have the energy and drive but lack focus and concentration.
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-4) at #16 UCLA (10-2) Wed. Dec. 21, 2 pm
Team plays hard and they don’t give up. In my view it would help if they had a feel for where the players are so when they can’t shoot they have a sense of who’s free. Also, too many going straight to the basket and missing. Pass to somebody. Doesn’t matter who gets the score, it’s a team effort.
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-3) at Eastern Washington (4-7) Sat. Dec.17, 1 pm
The 3s made the difference, they made theirs. UC didn’t, which was unusual for them. Now they’ve worked out the FT they can work on other weak spots.
  • MBB: UC Davis (7-3) at Eastern Washington (4-7) Sat. Dec.17, 1 pm
Less TOs would help. Slowing down and ball control may help too. Fun to watch fast plays but if you get a ball passed to you under the net don’t miss the shot, and if you’re under the basket be prepared to get a pass. Players having more aware of where everyone is plus where the ball is might also help. I like seeing Pepper, DeBruhl, and Beasley on the floor. Hope they have a better showing Wednesday.
  • MBB: Pacific (2-5) at UC Davis (6-2) Thu. Dec.1, 6 pm
An afterthought to the coach saying me me me playing. He knows who they are so isn’t it his job to stop it.
  • MBB: Pacific (2-5) at UC Davis (6-2) Thu. Dec.1, 6 pm
Unfortunately, from what I’ve seen, not all but some think there’s an I in team. I agree with the coach, me, me, me. He also needs to look at who are making TOs and missing FT and shake this team up. They have the stats so it’s up to the coaching staff. I don’t think they were outplayed on any of the losses. I think they gave the other teams an opening and they took the gift.
  • MBB: UC Davis (5-2) vs. Boston University (4-2) Mon. Nov. 28, 11 am
I think this team has potential; they enjoy playing with each other. More important, they’re winners. Hope they succeed
  • MBB: UC Davis (5-2) vs. Boston University (4-2) Mon. Nov. 28, 11 am
Sorry I didn’t see the travel
  • MBB: UC Davis (5-2) vs. Boston University (4-2) Mon. Nov. 28, 11 am
They won this is a new team, they make a lot of mistakes. These are non conference games and learning sessions. Should never have lost that lead and they need to improve the FT and cut down on the TOs. From what I’ve seen they’re determined to win. Unfortunately, for one error in judgment they should have been 3 - 0 and won the tournament.
  • MBB: UC Davis (4-1) at Milwaukee (2-3) Sat. Nov. 26, 2 pm
I’m also wondering, are they trying out this team, as for me, they are not playing their best 5 to get in a rhythm.
