• Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
Now, will UCD get ranked and move above Idaho? Probably not! That would be too big a move for one win
• Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
Getting too conservative too soon. You know they are looking run, so do quick passing plays and keep the clock running
• Tough Hawkins Critique
Who is this guy? He has something against Davis as does the Bee. But, the Bee doesn't try to make the players look bad as he does when he writes. I actually am embarrassed I sent to Solano JC first, but I could not afford 4 years at Davis. After graduating from JC I got accepted at Davis and earned.my degree. He must have transferred to Sac State to try to bring athletes down by saying the things they do wrong and never says what they do right. But, notice the Sac players do no wrong never have and ever will if his pen is movong. Troy a Taylor has recruited how many of his own players in 2 years? I say Troy did well developing the athletes he inherited. He has also recruited some good ones. I think Taylor has done a great.job . As has Hawkins. !etc compare the first 5 years of Taylor to the first 5 years of Hawkins. Taylor hasn't reached the semi finals yet. But, he may this year. But, ?looking at stats UCD is the kind of team that can beat any FCS team as long as officials don't call l a receiver out of bounds on a catch where he is about 4yards in bounds.Chris Carter was obviously in bounds and every sac fan knows it. The officials felt sorry for Sac losing so many games to UCD.
• Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
So, they say Hastings struggled a bit against the top teams in the Nation like #1, $3, and#6. Uh yeah,a little bit, but we should have beaten #1 a few missed FGs two with a good chance of making them
But we were still in the games
I don't mean to say they are definitely wrong only I don't see them as good as any of those teams we habe played to date nor do I see them comparable to the weak teams we beat. They are closer to ourselves than those we played weak or strong teams.
So, there is absolutely no way to assume he will struggle against the Vandals a little or a lot. He May just !ight them up. There is nothing to speculate that he will or will not struggle against the weakest over .500 team we have played to date.
• Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
Montana seems to think they are.much better than Davis. But, they haven't beaten a team with a .500 record or played as difficult a schecule. As of right now we ate 1 place above them in the standings. So, the only way they can get a better record than us.is to lode to both Idaho and Sac two ranked teams. So, I wouldn't think they have shown enough to be ranked. Just !one us right now.So the question becomes is a 7-4team !timely to get a playoff spot over an 8-3 Gross team?.. I happen to think so biased on strength of schedule, and the fact UCD will be higher on the league winning percentage than the Grizz. UCD would be 6-2 and the Gross 5-3 in league.

• Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
Weber
Played Sac tough.
If their receivers caught the wet passes Sac would have really been in trouble.
• Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
Jeremiah looks like he has great speed and good balance
• 2023 Football Recruiting
He may not even get to play there. There ate many 4 star athletes who rode the pine for 5 years and never got a chance to show their talent.
• Week 9: Cal Poly (1-6) @ UC Davis (3-4) Battle for the Golden Horseshoe
Now, if Montana is still ranked and hasn't beaten anyone that good, and the Ags are still unranked Ill have problems with ranking of teams, and will make me think only Sagarin system is the most accurate
• Week 4: Weber State @ UC Davis
I tend to think if you have a RB who can dive over top, and the lineman make contact with the defensive lineman to bring them down closer to the turf, then it is almost impossible to stop a 1 yard plunge overtop.
• Week 3: San Diego (1-1) @ UC Davis (0-2)
As I understand it, if you give an athlete am academic scholarship it counts as an athletic scholarship.
Why? Because then teams could give out both academic and athletic schoolies and thus have more players on schollies than the amount allowed. Thus, all schoolies to athletes are also athletic schollies.
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
Not much difference in total yards, but they have run more plays
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
No something to do with refereeing
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
Refs aren't calling any plays against the bunnirs. On the pi play they were holding a UC passrusher. No call. Should have been offsetting penalties
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
Miles throes nice passes, but he doesn't see the field
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
Signing the passer? He didn't even fall down. Home field call
• Week 2: UC Davis (0-1) @ South Dakota State (0-1)
Hastings is looking at his target the whole play. He doesn't see the field.
• Doss to NY Giants
Akari Jones did alright in the CFL financially
• Week 1: UC Davis (0-0) @ Cal (0-0)
Dick Bass from Vallejo High. Great runner. No shame losing to him
