The players on the team are good & ready to be coached up!

My guess in this hire (Speckman) is an example of trying to bring in a veteran coach within the UCD football budget. Speckman will bring a lot of experience in the coaches offices plus serve as an inspirational force to the players, that have been beaten down by all the losing! Hawkins & now Speckman are both "dont feel sorry for yourself" types! "Got to get it done" types! My guess from this hire is Coach Hawkins is paying a lot of attention to whats going on between the ears on the Aggie roster

That's shocking info! Who could work for that little! An OC making 70k is shockingly low!

FBS talk is crazy, unless somebody knows a person who's going to cut a check for 100 million. I'd be happy with a 500 season, next year & over the moon with a playoff birth.
Plus, with almost 40 thousand students & a team playing well, we should fill Aggie Stadium. That would be great to see!

The one thing UCD football has been missing is personality! Needless to say we have that covered now! :-)

I would expect his to join the staff. His offense has been traditionally very creative, a lot of formations & motion
