• Week 8: UC Davis @ Cal Poly
Congrats on the win. The Aggies are sitting in great position at 7-1 and in the top ten in the rankings. As a Mustang fan it was too much to expect a win against a formidable Aggie team, but I was happy that we kept it a game going into the fourth quarter. I was worried it would not be a game after the first quarter. Best of luck the rest of the season.
  • Week 8: UC Davis @ Cal Poly
Davis is the team I most respect, but also the team I most want to beat in football. I would love to see the Big Sky Championship each year came down to the winner of the Battle for the Golden Horseshoe.
  • Week 8: UC Davis @ Cal Poly
I think most knowledgeable fans knew this was going to be a tough season. Attendance is dipping, but I believe will come back when we start winning again. I also believe that the administration will give Baldwin the time to build back the program and they are supporting him in ways they did not support the last staff (assistant salary pool, recruiting budget etc…). I really feel the recruiting is at a much higher level under Baldwin and it will start to show in the next year or two.
  • Week 8: UC Davis @ Cal Poly
Not a sinking ship. One that was heavily damaged over the last five or so years. I expect another one sided loss this weekend, but I am confident that over the next 3 or 4 years this staff will right the ship.

    Congrats on the big win.

This is a discussion board not a court of law. I was just passing on what I was told. Could the coach possibly have told me that because he did not want to admit losing players to UC Davis? That is possible, but I do not believe so.
  • 2022 Football Recruiting
I know that in the past I have asked the past coaching staff at Cal Poly about a few players they were recruiting and was told they had to stop recruiting them because they could not get them in school only to see them end up at UC Davis. Joshua Kelley was one of those players.

Normatech is for recovery. It blows up and releases on the legs repeatedly. I believe it helps push the blood back up to the heart to re-oxygenate it. DrMike?

Aggie signee Darien Langley runs sub 11 second 100 M (10.93) on the track today. Kid can fly.
  • Week 5: #9 Eastern Washington @ #11 UC Davis
I don’t agree with the rule, I am just saying how the intemperate it. He put the crown of his helmet into the numbers of the ball carrier and they want it to be his face mask.
  • Week 5: #9 Eastern Washington @ #11 UC Davis
They want you tackle with your head up and not lead with the crown of your helmet. In other words he would have been ok if he did not lower his head before contact.
  • Week 5: #9 Eastern Washington @ #11 UC Davis
Launch — a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area

A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground

Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area

Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet

I originally thought the call was wrong, but I looked up the rule (above) and I believe he did lowered his head and initiated forcible contact with the crown of the helmet (last point above).

To give Tompkins a shot. Looks like it was the right call and maybe it came a little too late.
  • Week 5: #9 Eastern Washington @ #11 UC Davis
That targeting call was BS and changed the game. Good battle. Tompkins is legit.

I believe they are hitting the weight room and conditioning. While I don’t think they will be challenging for a Big Sky Championship in 2021, I believe you will see significant improvement and the staff building a foundation for future success.

Because they had zero spring practices, only 2 or 3 fall practices before getting shut down by Covid. I think we all saw the results this spring. It is hard to tell exactly what you have in Zoom meetings instead of actual practices.

I think the coaches have come to the conclusion that the bus has no wheels already and are scrambling to find some. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more than a couple of FBS transfers added to the roster before next fall.
