I took squash from a Basketball Coach when I was an undergraduate. As soon as I started scoring on him he wooped on me. He took it up several notches. I think his last name was Clink.

He’d say “if a racquetball hits your eye, you’ll get a black eye. If a squash ball hits your eye, you’ll lose your eye. Wear you goggles”.

I wonder who will be the new AD and if May will hit a home run with the selection...

He was on the list for the UCLA job; that’s when I knew he was not staying.

My sister is a medical doctor and she says they have never seen anything like this; the stuff is probably mutating already.

Her colleague didn’t really think COVID was that bad, and just last week her sister was put on a ventilator with no good prospects. My sister says she’s been quiet and probably feels like a fool listing all the mortality rates being low and such. I mean, this is no joke.

I hope this is some type of farce, but as time passes I think the results speak for themselves.

It was just a general question that I had. I noticed our endowment number was over a billion, but feel like it should be much higher with how old our school is.

Does the Bee ever report anything positive regarding UC Davis?

Seriously, I am hard pressed to ever read something positive from them about Davis.

There was a beginning to this virus and there will be an end.

One of the strange things that has occurred because of the safer at home measures, and I think there is literature out there on this, is that my dreams are more vivid when I sleep. I believe it has to do with our mind not getting enough stimuli from our usual daily activities so it has to compensate for it.

At work they programmed therapy sessions for all of us, but I really didn’t take advantage of it. I have been so bogged down with work that it’s been hard to keep up with all of the resources out there that can help me. I work in a city building so the measures are a bit more stringent; they just let us know that we probably won’t be back to “normal” until early 2021.

Hang in there, I’m pretty much in the same boat.

Music, running, and phone calls are super important.

I’ve noticed that when I feel especially low, it’s because I haven’t exercised in days. That hormonal uptick when exercising really makes a difference.

I’ve also seen that reading a good book helps as well.
