NAU down 17-0 in fourth . They are lucky to be in. Lost their 2 tough BSC games, lost by 20 to Incarnate Word and beat poor Lincoln of Oakland. They had a weak Big Sky schedule. Happy to see them lose - not a big fan of their transfer portal overload

in the Mercury article this morning, Taylor said 11 starters transferred out after Shaw was let go, and 6 left this year. They were playing true freshmen all over the place. If they can somehow stop the talent drain and get into the portal, they might be competitive. I personally think Stanford is going to be stuck around the bottom of the ACC.

you missed some 2nd team guys. I think Princeton should have been higher. He dominated the middle didn’t come off the field much.

he made SO many mistakes last night on identifying players, or just announcing a basket/foul well after it happened. maybe he's more familiar with the women and does okay there. Larry Swanson is pretty solid for the men's games.

pretty sure that’s not correct. I’m pretty positive all BWC will be on ESPN+. Just as positive that many games will be preempted by the kings (like last night) on 1140. Many ‘radio’ games are internet only

That second half was ugly. We made a nice run before the half to take the lead, finally playing in rhythm on both ends. Then, I’m not sure what happened. They were very physical which, surprisingly, seemed to affect us mentally - especially TY. There was a 5 minute or so stretch where it didn’t seem like we got a shot and they got hot, turning a 2 point lead into a 12 point deficit in no time. When we got the ball inside, we couldn’t get up a shot or lost the ball - their length and ability to leap seem to intimidate us a bit.

We obviously go as TY goes, and he was off all night. Sevilla and Leo both had solid stretches, but nobody else seemed to contribute. Rocek is going to have a tough go with basically no help down low. A team with athletic bigger guys, like last night, will get easy buckets and open up the outside.

Maybe Mani gets back out there and contributes; else, we’re gonna have many nights that look like that.

I think they are projecting their negative feelings about the coaches, especially the OC, through the QB.

Odds show us as 6.5 point favorites with 77% chance of winning, and 48% chance of covering. As Toke said, hard to get a read on them with their array of opponents. Plus they’ve been traveling are awhile. These early season OOC games are always a mystery.
