I don't even try to do the BigWest stream anymore. I follow via ESPN
gamecast, and KSAC (via TuneIn). ESPN was flaky last night, going stale for minutes at a time. The KSAC broadcast is reliable (but a few seconds behind the gamecast when its working...so....sometimes there's no suspense!). I really like listening to Scott Marsh do basketball. Really describes the action well, and gives 'color'. He was INCENSED at the lack of goaltending on the Shorts layup in the 2OT (i think it was then, it started to blur), but, in general, gives a very even account of the game.

i think one of the big attractions of the charter, is that they can fly much closer to all the Big Sky cities.

They charter out of sac these days so that helps. But good point; not sure how they get to cedar city.

i was just checking schedules for next year. Ivy's play 10 games, 7 in league. They all open on Sept 15. next year, Harvard is at USD and Brown is at Poly.

i would love to play a game like that. challange would be if they insist on a home-home series -> then you have to fly cross country for your third game of the year. unless you had a 4th week bye, that would be a big impact on a team.

Rice would be a good one. Playing at West Point or Annopolis would be a once-in-a-lifetime event for the players.

Dan mentioned at the NSL reception a desire to play top academic schools like Northwestern and Vanderbilt as our FBS games. I forgot to ask about trying to get an Ivy in the schedule. I know it’s challenging to get them since they play fewer OOC games and start a couple weeks later then us. Poly and San Diego have hosted in the recent past
