Was Dotson hurt? They ran the ball 19 times. Thomson 13 times, Dotson once. Thomson had 30 yards passing in the first half, 275 in the second. Kind of like our game, except Peay moved the ball
Fun game. Huge improvement from Sac game. I like that we have some guys who can take it to the hoop and try to create shots. Important when the 3’s cool off. I liked the contributions from guys like Squire and Fuller on both ends. Pepper had a couple key offensive rebounds that kept them from clawing back in. I really enjoyed watching tonight
I’m coming up, hopefully for not-terrible weather. Looking forward to seeing a change from Sac game. 4 point underdogs which seems about right based on records. We’re coming off 3 strong games, they just lost to St Mary’s
That was pretty impressive. NAU are no world beaters but a 20 point win on the road (LONG road trip) is pretty sweet. Money and Gonzo look like completely different players than they did at Golden 1. Lots of contributions from many players.
Looking forward to being at the Rec Hall Saturday. Hope they get a decent turnout
Pepper was vastly improved in the Pac12 games last week. Getting Squire back will help. I'm hoping we see Printup who missed both games last week, after a really solid game at Portland.
The problem is there is no place for us to go. MWC isn’t going to grow from 12 to 14. Our only hope would be for New Mexico to drop out. There’s nothing else in the west.
Small college football will be a distant third to the Kings and new Sac Republic. Interest in Cal and Stanford is waning in the Bay Area, especially with younger folks. Non existent for the Spartans in the growing Silicon Valley. Hard to imagine the new arrivals in the Sac area will buck that trend.
I think until the performance center is complete and we can see what things look like on that end of the stadium, it will be hard to say what’s next. Anything more than 20k total seems too much. College attendance is trending down, hard to imagine a future where we’d need more than 20k on a regular basis
Weird that San Jose doesn’t have seats in one side of the stadium. I guess they are building a performance center on that side. Capacity is around 17000 now ( and it’s not close to that)
another opponent, San Jose plays Fresno at home. I can’t imagine they get 10k even with the fresno loyalists. Another disappointing bowl less year for SJSU and they graduate their QB whose been their offense
