don’t disagree. I’m nit sure how many in our fan base is looking to pay big bucks for a box. Unless, we can get corporate support
  • Post-Season for the Big West
I would think it depends on who wins the BWC tour. Today, the NET rankings show UCSD at something like 43 along with some heavyweights, snd Irvine at 66 with borderline teams like USF. The strength of the BWC won’t do much for their rankings the rest of the season even if they both run the table. So, if someone other than UCSD wins the conference tournament, I think you’ll see 2 with the
tritons getting a pretty good seed. UCSD wins it? Gets a little dicey for Irvine. I’m not familiar enough with UCI’s body of work, but a quick glance doesn’t show any high level wins that would push them. Seems like, from a quick google, mid 60 NET is the cutoff, and those last schools in tend to be from power conferences .

unfortunately, Poly couldn’t beat CSUN tonight so getting into the top 4 is looking less likely, although they do have a tough stretch coming up.

Montana has 47 suites at $14000 each. And they are sold out. That’s a cool $660K in ticket revenue!

Here’s a link to South Dakota State’s suites. Big money!

85-60 final. Got it to 18 but they pushed to to the 25 difference with a late run.

Tough defense for TY to get shots( Daughtry really struggled. Cooper continues to improve.

Okay, back home and we need a sweep!

They are up 29 with 2 to go and have lost their starters still in. Padding the post season resume?

Agee this announcing team isn’t too good. I’ve been impressed with most of the teams in their knowledge of our team - obviously doing their homework

they did the same last year when they smashed us at home. Then we went down and beat them at their place

I don’t recall the wording exactly but when Rocko was talking about fund raising he said an announcement would be coming . I thought I heard summer but might be wrong. Maybe someone else there that night can confirm. No specifics other than the mention of their luxury suite envy ( good bye chancellors tent!)

Down 52-31 at half and they are having just a grand time doing it. I really don’t like this bunch

Montana had them from 20 to 20 on both sides of the stadium and they were filled. They weren’t that big or luxurious but they were warm!

Down 31-16 with 8 to go. They are shooting 75% from the field, 76% from the arc. Putting on a clinic at both ends.

What we learned from last year - they will run it up.

Not looking good. They have our offense stymied and they are shooting well. 26-14 with 8 to go

Doesn’t look like a big crowd. Who started? I turned on a minute in and Cooper and Daugherty were out there

don’t know but I would assume that would be part of the deal with MWC (not FBS - minimum attendence is no longer)

there are plans in progress now for expansion. Rocko mentioned it at the signing event. An announcement is coming I believe near summer. They are really focused on luxury boxes - those are big sources of revenue for the Montana’s and Dakota’s

We’re at 14.5 point underdogs which is pretty much every line (except Irvine) that the Tritons have had in conference. This would be a massive upset. Somehow we have to slow them down like Irvine did in their first game.

Some important games on the docket for our playoff hopes. I think I’d like to see Fullerton win, CSUN and UCSB lose. And Irvine knock off Hawaii. I’d like to get more space (or maintain) over UCSB. We still have Northridge at home so we could catch them.

it seemed like Les substituted him in (practically ran him up to the scorer’s table to get him in) when Riverside made a substitution inside - when with a thinner guy who, it appeared, Mani could match up with. Hopefully this gives him a bit of confidence.
  • Opening Day 2025
The field looks cool under the lights. Just checked an inning on ESPN+

I think the two Nevada schools will bring interest, especially the first couple seasons. But if we’re not competitive, that won’t last.

We’ve hosted Air Force in the past. Not a real draw. I’m not sure any of the other schools will move the needle except to that part of the public that follows college hoops on the national level.
