that's one of the few statements i agree with Dr. Wood on. I can easily see them getting to a winning record in the MAC and qualifying for one of their bowls. Last year, 5 MAC'ers went to a bowl. With the expanded college playoffs coming, there should be even more lower level teams going.

Odds have us as 1 to 1.5 point underdogs, with Fullerton having something like a 52% chance of winning. But, it is Thursday on the road - not sure the travel conditions today but that could be something to factor in.

I have a grandkids school thing so probably can only watch second half - hopefully watch us grind out another win. Fullerton has been better, at least to me, than expected - gonna be a tough one.

I don’t think any long time rivalries like James Madison - William and Mary have survived one school moving up. I’m guessing NDSU-SDSU is no longer and that’s bigger than the causeway.

I was curious about our records Thursday vs Saturday. It’s nothing definitive since we have since we’ve not played everyone twice but what the heck..

At home, we are 3-1 on both days. On the road, 1-3 on Thursday and 2-1 on Saturday. Granted one Thursday away was at Hawaii (they don’t lose there), but we seem to do worse on Thursday nights. I suspect some is due to same day travel. Or, it’s just ‘one of those things’. That being said two of our worst away losses (CSUN, UCSD) have been on Thursday. Let’s buck that trend vs Fullerton

I have to imagine the bulk of the cash is outside money, even if the conference payment is stretched over many years.

I was walking by when the trainer was trying to wrap around that joint - I told her ‘that doesn’t look like an easy thing to wrap’. She just kinda sighed and agreed. I don’t know what you can do to stabilize that area with a wrap - it’s got to be tough for him to push off and get a good first step.
