They practice in the mornings. That being said, just dealing with this heat on the day to day basis, even for young kids, can zap you a little. I'm sure they are looking forward to getting up North on Friday for cooler climate.

most broadcasts have some sort of delay to deal with bleeping out language, but that is usually a 7-second delay. But, that should only be a fraction of a play. i've noticed that KTHK is out of sync with other stations on syndicated radio broadcasts when i'm flipping between stations on a weekend. i'm guessing good old KDVS didn't worry about a 7-second delay!
