i haven't seen a 'vegas' type spread, but Sagarin has them by 1.5 points. There is a another national guy, Bill Conelly at ESPN, that has it 22.6 to 22.1, us. so a toss up. DRatings has them at 60% chance of winning. I have no clue how accurate these algorithms are at this level, this early in the season.

i believe it was Veteran's Day weekend. I remember going downtown on the Friday (pre basketball game) and it was dead.

I didn’t realize Buchanan was out. No wonder they attacked the edge. Nick Eaton was very active last night. Tedeye is a difference maker

her voice was more annoying than the cow bell! There was a lot of security around, but not the normal ushers. We had students popping in and out of our section throughout the night.

I also liked that they turned the stadium club into a merchandise shop (and beer stand). It was pretty full once they got their card reader working.

I was looking at USD roster. They show 95 players, 35 from out of state. 11 different states. We have 105 listed with 8 from out of state.

I’m always impressed with USD’s offense. Beside the wildcat, they never seem to run the same play twice.

In Gomez’ defense, that kick last night was into the teeth of a stiff wind. From our seats, it looked like it got pushed at the end.

Next week is the stampede; that was mostly orientation groups.

Waiting until the 4th quarter is give away a bike was a good idea. Same with giving shirts away late. Sideline announcer was good. New PA guy is huge step up.

Most the students were there for orientation. When we walked the concourse at halftime, there was signage directing them into various orientation groupings. They stayed to the end

poly beat them 28-17 last year, but it was close. The next week we rolled them . This year was closer vs Poly, but hoping our result is similar

Despite being ‘non scholarship’ USD has two NFL players: Ross Dwelley and Michael Bandy. They figure a way to get quality skill players into the program.
