I believe we’ve been there. About 10 years ago, I umpired the Little League Senior division western regional in Salem. We took a road trip on one of the off days.
And I’ll use my United points to fly - 8 hours of driving is too much on this body .
Edit: wrong place. We hit Chinook Winds in Lincoln City. Also ate at this gem
i was just seeking the Big West message boards, and guys are starting to hit the portal. UCSD, CP, CSUN and Bake have been hit hard so far, especially Poly and UCSD.
I watched most of the first half and Caleb was on the floor most of the time, although not much of the offense. Did he play much in the second? Seems like his stat line didn’t really change
that's brutal. that similar thing happened to us this year, correct? in that milwaukee tournament? anigwe or ade grabbing a rebound and throwing out to midcourt to avoid a travel?
This is an interesting article about the move. Sounds like they didn’t like the size and proximity of the Honda Center. This makes for a more nuetral true-tournament atmosphere. Not sure the attendance of the Friday-Saturday
an article I read stressed the smaller arena as a draw. I don’t think they drew that many folks to the Honda center which is twice the size of Henderson arena, so crowds looked really small.
Irvine is in the NIT as the BW regular season champ. They play Oregon. Hopefully, for Russ Turner, the Ducks don’t have a player named King on the team again.
CBI costs a fair amount to enter ( I thought I read. something like $50k) so unless you host a game it can get costly to play in
last year was weird. Manjon moved up. Murphy ended up at some tiny school with his brother. Not sure if McGill or Niles went back to JC. Murphy and McGill got time; maybe the academic fit wasn’t got them? Puzzling
Edit: McGill is at Metro St in Denver near his home town.
