Are we missing anyone expected to be back ? I’m sure we’ll redshirt one or two

back in the ‘old’ days a bunch of guys did. From my days. John Lucido and Brian Buckley played. But that was before football spring ball, and the longer baseball schedules.

Football/basketball is possible but there would be trade offs since schedules overlap especially with bowls in FBS. Charlie Ward did it at FSU. Tony Gonzalez at Cal.

he was a QB at Colorado. Looks like he was a high school basketball player with interest in joining the BB team there

beats me. Didn’t play beyond that one frosh game. Article says campus settled for $1.3M. His lawyers claimed inadequate time and training on tackling prior to playing their first game. I was a frosh in 79 and can’t remember it happening back then; I think one of the team members brought it up at a recent gathering

lawsuit was for a guy named Brent Goss injured in 1980 v Gavillan. I found an article in the old Aggie newspaper archives.

I think that was a year or two after I played frosh but can’t recall the name. This just came up in a conversation with a couple guys

i would be happy to see Hawaii go; screws up the basketball schedule because of the travel to the island.

I've been a few times in the last couple of years. Same good, juicy burgers. Still order at the kitchen window. Same eclectic set of customers at lunch. I think they have a decent outside seating area, but i haven't personally eaten out there.
