I saw Harvey signed to SB. He’ll fill the McLoughlin roll as I’m sure he’ll be playing for money somewhere next year. The rest of the BW better step up the recruiting or we’ll all be fighting for second.
And there’s the new addition, transfer from Nevada. 3 years of eligibility left. Usually he’d need to sit out a year but not sure what the rules are now. 6’4” wing. Looks like a good shooter out of France.
It's funny, my son and I were talking about needed improvements a while back and the first thing we both said was a better scoreboard. There are seats, in the current setup, where you can't see any of the boards. This will absolutely help. I'd like to see some better lighting, too, and replacement of broken seats.
The bears played almost a perfect game. Every time I thought the zags were getting into a groove Baylor would hit back to back 3’s and clamp down on defense and it’d be up to 17 pt margin again.
God awful is a very good way of putting. As agalum said they had the old plastic bags over their bells so everything sounded muted and out of tune. Plus only one trumpet so you couldn’t here much melody. Glad they were there but it was cringe worthy.
It was a tough way to lose. As their coach said, the margin of error is so thin in these games. Az with the big upset In game 2. I had some wildcat friends at the game. It must have been so much fun!
I think there was a general transfer waiver this year due to the shortened season last year. The Ags benefited by getting Anigwe a season earlier than expected.
UH losing those two players in particular will hurt, though they do seem to be able to attract transfers and fit them into their system. Looks like beach is losing a bunch of players also. Ags might be the most stable team from this year to next.
It did feel like we were off for so many weeks that Gross spent all the remaining time getting the starters ready, so in games like this, the bench just wash up to it. Hopefully a full off season and a talented recruiting class will make us much deeper.
Yeah there did seem to be a bigger buzz when we made the run through the NIT a few years ago. I do wonder how much money we get for a one game ncaa run vs several NIT games.
