probably a good move. I know everyone I’ve talked to about our football schedule was very surprised that Dixie st is in Utah. Haven’t run into the name association with racism but it wouldn’t surprise me if that was part of the reason for the change.

I think that’s Parkside bar. It’s changed styles a couple of times but has the lodge thing going now. I haven’t been over there yet but may try to soon. I checked their website and it doesn’t say anything about a viewing party but they may have the game on.

He basically said that we have 6 QBs that he likes, but that Hunter will start. Compliments him on his work in the spring and that he did a lot of good things during the summer camp. Fairly standard coach speak. I've heard that Hastings will back up, with Tompkins getting some time on the field when they want to run more (wouldn't surprise me to see him used at a lot of different positions to try and confuse/trick the defense).

Yeah they practiced at Memorial Stadium yesterday evening. My understanding is that they’ll be practicing this evening in Davis, though I guess that could change if the air quality gets worse again.

I watched some of this. Really came down to a couple point at the end of the last two sets. We seem to be a young team learning how to win. It’ll be interesting to watch them mature.

Drove by and saw the team working out on the new field next the stadium this morning. First time I’ve seen them there. They’ve been holding the rest of their summer workouts next to Toomey.
