I agree with that about Monson and Les.

Honestly think that if we look at this list in a few years, we might be adding TY near the top. He needs to play a little more under control, limiting the turnovers, but considering this is really his first year, he’s shown huge potential

I’m going to try and put together a starting five of guys not mentioned so far. Across the front I’ll go Josh Fox, AJ John and Lawerence White. A little light on interior defense maybe, but the flexibility would be hard to guard. In the backcourt it’ll be Stefan Gonzalez and Tyler Les. Ok no real point guard, but Ill be leading the conference in made 3 point shots.

I really liked Monson, who at a big 6'10", had great hands. But he only played 2 years for us and only one BW tourney (missed his second one due to the birth of his child). But yeah, if I was starting a team of all-time aggie players, I think i'd go Anigwe at 5, Chima at 4, with Lemar, Hawkins and Shorts (Chima and Hawkins are my only slam dunks...the others positions could be filled by several different guys).

I was thinking about where Anigwe fits in the pantheon of Aggie big men. Always hard to compare, as players are asked to do different things in their particular schemes, but if I was starting a team of all time Aggies, I’d be hard pressed not to include Christian.

Re-watched the last five minutes and the comeback all started with two Rocak steals on entry passes to their big man. Really can’t overstate how big this walk-on transfer has been for the Ags.

I haven’t heard ragtime in years. They still play hot time after turnovers at football games but haven’t heard it anywhere else.

Marsh and Williams were both curious about that play. They both want Ade to be more confident in his offense, but that seemed like a strange time to push it.

I agree that the Princeton offense does take time to perfect, as could be seen earlier in the season. BGA is right that the players Coach Gross brings in are smart and the learning curve is diminished by their skills/experience. But it does take a lot of court time to get all the pieces moving correctly. I honestly don't think we'll see the true potential of this team until next year, when Svanholm is back, the Megan's have a year under their belts, and Sabel gets more experience

If anything, this team has taught me to never associate size with good rebounding. We may be slightly bigger than previous Aggie teams but I’ve never seen a team dominate on the offensive boards like this team does. Anigwe, Ade, Rojak are usually smaller than their counterparts but just out work them. Add in TY and Pepper, who always seems to have a nose for the ball, and you have a great rebounding team. Actually, Ade reminds me a bit of Dennis Rodman. Just relentless rebounding effort.

I switched it on in the 4q. Terrible play down the stretch. We had the ball, tied, with the shot clock off. We HAVE to take the last shot, basically as the clock ticks to zero. Worse case scenario you go to OT at home. Instead, we missed a jumper with3 secs left. The womens game allows you to call a timeout and advance the ball to the front court, which ucsd did. Defensive breakdown leads to an easy layup. Just really poor basketball.

I saw her on the sideline at the previous game but got to listen to her last night. She’s good and added some info that Marsh and Williams didn’t have. Hope she is at all home league games as I think she adds to the production value. Also noticed more replays during timeouts or stoppages. Seemed like they are making an effort to up the product.

I watched the game on delay. Good win for the Ags. Seemed like a pretty good crowd

I didn’t notice but it’s entirely possible. The kings cut him so he is probably headed back to Europe.

Rebounding was the key. And tough defense the last 7 mins or so. Always good to get a road win

I’m watching. Terrible production by espn. They had all of our heights wrong on the graphics and the analyst keeps predicting things incorrectly. And the play by play guy got several of our players names wrong. Just poor.

Oh and the Ags are playing very sloppy.

It doesn't help that the main hype guy (not Darius or any of the guys that do the football games) criticizes the students when they don't do what he tells them to do. Don't get me wrong, he has a tough job to do, but to "angrily" blame missed free throws on those students who don't raise their arms seems counter productive.

Looks like the board took this game off. I actually made it home in time to go to this one. Ags played an overall solid game. Even though Pepper was cold from the field he never forced his shot and seemed comfortable playing the complimentary role with 4 assists and 4 rebounds and solid D. Milling picked up the scoring with a career high 19. If you make it out to a game this year, watch how hard the guards work away from the ball on defense and the boards. When they play like they did yesterday they’ll be in every game
