band is here. Rough start but defense carried us. Offense started to gel when kept driving and crashing the boards.

uci by 6 at half. Irvine doesn't give you anything defensively. And Beach fans wimped out tonight. Last night they were numerous and loud. Tonight, they must all have something better to do.

Ags bookend the day at the the Honda Center. Women at noon, men at 9. Go Ags!

Any win now is a great win. The Ags played very well defensively and just well enough offensely. Bring on the semi's!

Just a point of clarification, I may be wrong, but I think tonight's game is meaningless in terms of determining the #1 seed for the BWT. If we lose tonight, we'd be a game back of UCI. A win on Saturday would tie us, and we'd get the tie breaker by virtue of the regular season sweep of UCI. If we win tonight, we'd still have to win on Saturday to get the #1 seed.

Regardless, let's just win out and not worry about tie breakers.

Just a few things...my daughter said this game had a great deal of buzz around campus, maybe even more than the ESPN game two years ago. And LBSU used the Davis High School gym for practice on Friday. If they are late to the game, it's NOT because my son locked them in the gym.

Me, plus wife and son are going to both games. And my daughter will be over in the student section. Should be a blast!

I think that such an effort has been put into promoting the Saturday game that the Thursday game got a little lost.

Planning on going Thursday and already have my tickets for Saturday.

Definitely watching this one. After a few down performances (UCSB, Poly) it'd be nice to give a top notch effort on the road.
