I always think back to a few years ago when we were down in SLO and up by close to 20 in the second half, only to see us collapse at the hands of their full court press. I know, different teams now with different skill sets, but it still makes me nervous. Hopefully we play good solid defense and rebound so they can't set up any full court trap. Go Ags!

It'll be interesting to see if Squire is back healthy, and if so, does he regain his starting spot. Ba has done a good job in the starting lineup, so it wouldn't surprise me if they decide to bring Squire off the bench. And do we see Adebayo or Hogland at all?

So I don't know about Campbell's surgery, but she was on the sidelines at Long Beach last weekend, so I assume that, if she could sit in a bus for 7 hours, it must have gone as expected. Again, just a guess based on some experience with knees.

Good questions about Cici and Mac. I'm hoping they both come back which would allow the new freshman to red shirt. But it wouldn't surprise me if they both graduate and get started with their post-college plans.

We had this discussion this weekend...IF we win the BWT and get the auto bid, does the fact that the NCAAT is all being held in Texas effect our first round opponent? Kind of hoping we avoid Stanford, if for no other reason than to just play someone different.

Yeah Koehler is the only senior and could come back next year if he wants to. Another year of maturity for Murphy and Shaw(who had a really nice series vs the beach) and add in some depth with Hogland and Bora and we could certainly have a good size upfront next year.

Yeah Adebayo was really hurting. Reminds me of a visiting player a few years who got hit in the eye. I’ve never heard a guy scream as much as he did. It was really scary.

Santa Clara has a game on Saturday but nothing else this week, so maybe that would work. Cal, Stanford, St Marys, USF, and uop all have two games already scheduled.

Also I saw Campbell Gray on the sideline last week in full knee brace and crutches. I haven’t seen any official announcement but I’m sure it’s at least an ACL. We’ll get a lot more Carrion at the backup point.

Squire is out with a lower leg injury. Don’t know if that means a hammy or sprain or acl. I assume if it was a season ending injury we’d have heard about it by now.

Adebayo was injured in head/eye at San Diego. Don’t know about the extent but it looked pretty bad when it happened.

Hogland is a mystery. He was hurt early on, I want to say hand but not sure, but played through it. I thought he’d be back but I haven’t seen him on the bench. It might be a new injury.

Borra had an acl his senior year in hs. Roughly a year ago. Les thought he might get minutes near the end of the season but you never know about the recovery period.

Haynesworth was probably going to be the last off the bench this year but I haven’t seen him on the bench so there could be another injury that’s keeping him off the court.

Yeah I was confused when I first read it. The men might lose a spot as toke said, but the women might lose the regular season championship streak. On the women’s side right now the average I think is 10 games. We are 6-0. If we fall further behind the average it’s possible the added losses move us to 2nd. I assume we win a tie breaker with beach so it’s pretty important for us to win out if we want to keep the streak going.

That’s great for coach Gross and the entire staff. Amazing job they have done (and continue to do).

And there’s some funky way that the big west is dealing with the uneven number of games played. I’ll try to find a link as I don’t remember the details. It’s going to be a very unpredictable tournament
