My main point is nobody ever talked about Davis as being one of the toughest defenses in the Big Sky and we never busted into the top 5 before Coombs.

.....but it is time to get over the hump and bust into the top 3 consistently.

Going to be quite the pissing contest between these two this week in the media.
Sac State is despondent. Nevada has lost 32-39 games.............and Lake Tahoe apparently.

Hopefully playing teams like Washington and UCLA will help get guys like Coombs paid. I feel like we are already on borrowed time with him.

When he fills in his frame and gets more games under his belt, Drew Cofield is going to be a Teddye/Rex caliber defender. The impact he's making as a freshman is impressive.

I'm also really looking forward to seeing what Totten and Cravin get up to. Bright future for Davis on defense. Coombs is doing a great job.

Nevada has never even mentioned Tahoe in any regard that I can remember before we came out with this …..also amusing is how a fan came up with an Ai generated Tahoe concept, and not the athletic department. The athletic department has no official response.

In other words they don’t care. The coach likely made his comments without understanding the connection Davis has with LT.

I like UCLA and San Diego State as OOC opponents for recruiting purposes. SoCal is where its at as far as that goes (for us).
We should play San Jose State more - they haven't popped up since we beat them in '18 for the 2nd time.

Pinnick has taken quite a few shots.....and he's likely going to take a few more Saturday.
Giving him and some other starters some time off if things are out of hand in the 2nd half is good idea. Having a week off after this one is going to help a lot. Good scheduling.

I'd love to see Caden throw it in the food trucks instead of take a hit going out of bounds for a couple-yard loss. (that's my only critique, he's been great!)

15.5 was the line for hoops. I'd be ecstatic if we were only a 15.5 dawg vs. UW in football!

Davis program has gotten stronger since the last meeting in 2019. (So has NDSU's if you can believe that).

I think Home and Home's like this are fantastic.
