Marion mentioned sideline issues during the Mercyhurst game….with some guys b*tching and complaining. He’s “moved on” from some players (not sure of this is temporary or permanent).
I thought Rashida got concussed at Nevada and that’s why he was out last week (?) But it’s sounding like he’s been benched in favor of Williams, who’s looked good.

This stuff isn't shocking. Bringing in 70+ guys all at once (a lot of them 2nd and 3rd chance guys) from all over the country based on only short conversations and review of highlights is a risky endeavor.

I found our previous board, but that went up to around 2007. If anyone can find the older board, then that would be fun to read. — eastbayaggie

I believe this was the davisfans.com era in the early 2000's up to when we moved, in around 2005. My memory is getting a little fuzzy!
CKwan was a good guy who worked with us to grow the board. I often wonder if he's still around!

Lincoln University website has the 2024 schedule up. Roster link doesn't even work.
I am still unclear as to their affiliation: NCAA D2? NAIA? "Unaffiliated?"

Probably not too luxurious....bar table, fridge, stadium seating? Sounds fun. Could probably be done without going over the top.....

This was entertaining. Plough is a good dude. Always a good interview. He's come such a long way in his coaching career.

A little smack talk from him on the Mercer game.....inferring we bailed out. Sounds like he didn't hear Plough's reasoning (or ignored it).
Had high praises for the program which is standard in the week leading up to a game.

He ain't wrong though: we 'aint a scary team. Yet.
We looked a little pedestrian in games 1-5 last season as well.

Suites can be rented in the off-season as conference rooms to both on- and off-campus entities. Won't make anything from that but it might help drive demand and bring potential donors to campus. Recruiting and marketing events, etc. — Pacifico

Being able to book a suite and watch the Ags at the stadium while the team is on the road would be kinda cool too. Like watch parties professional teams have when they open the arena/stadium for people to watch on the jumbotron.
Not sure if that kind of thing would sell at Davis with present demand...

I like what he's doing with student outreach and getting the players involved. The Friday night rally is essential.

By mid-season they could be a totally different team.

Mercyhurst burned on some big plays.
I've seen a good chunk of 3 Sac games. The coaching is the issue. Its pretty rough. Lots of lack of discipline and focus, as well as some puzzling in-game decisions.

In this game, speed at WR is bailing them out bigtime.
