Although our CA logo literally translates as "Cal Aggies"......we go by UC Davis, not Cal Davis. I feel the script "Davis" on the helmets is the clearest representation.

In work, management matters. In sports, coaching staff matters. In event promo, staff matters.
Its all about who's on staff and 'holding the mic.' Its about level of effort. Those Aggie Pack guys had heart/determination and pride.

Make no bones about it…..student support sucks and I hate it. But I also get it.
The city of Davis population is 60k + right? That alone should be enough to fill the place with 15k.

Football culture in CA is the issue. He needs to be careful to not attack the wrong folks, but I understand because I share the same frustrations (for the past 20 years)

This one is on the students. BUT he knows what it’s like at UC..he lived it.
His classmates cared a lot about finals. And they start Monday. Like LeFan said, this is the way it is in the UC system. Cal and UCLA deal with the same student attendance issues.

Illinois State was a relatively mild fan-base and the team was not hostile. That’s a weird move from our peeps.

feel a little low; however, student turnout was low and visitor sections were pretty empty.
Many people (like Finn and me standing on the home 50 yd line). A couple hundred that would otherwise be in the grass.

This just starts out as a tough road trip. Getting there is a chore. Good team too.
