Sac State's bid for the Pac 12 ThreadSo, a "temporary" stadium off-campus to replace their "temporary" stadium on campus?
At least they owned the stadium and land at Hornet Stadium. This is perplexing.
When they get booted from the Cal Expo lease, at least they can come back to Hornet Stadium and renovate it.
This stinks of a Wood / Marion resume builder: "got a new stadium built in record time" even though it might not be in the best interest of Sac State University. None of this has been..... -

Weber State @ UC DavisI totally get it and agree with you. He has to keep his promises or nothing else matters. Lan covering punts gets him reps for NFL scouts and keeps him at Davis in the NIL era.

Delicate balance between keeping these guys in Davis and giving them a little money and letting them go.
Ultimately, it’s the players decision, of course.

2025 Big Sky Games Week 5Sac State seems to be putting things together. With the size and speed on that roster, the only thing that could hold them back is negligent coaching or behavioral issues. Neither out of the realm over there.
